Risk, Safety, and Security

In today's day and age, risk, safety, and security are very important aspects of any event, program or facility. Large events go so far as to even having metal detectors, pat-downs, and no purse policies. Understanding why these procedures are in place, and being able to implement the appropriate measures of safety at events and during programs is more important than ever. Linked to the photo above is the risk management plan that my team and I developed for the Pancake Breakfast that we hosted. My education at Ohio University, along with personal experience has helped me to develop the skill set necessary to keep people safe during events and programs. Along with this, the Risk Management portion of the program I developed is available under the risk management tab in the outdoor recreation and education category.
