Caden and Mason's Summer
Working as a live-in nanny was a very unique experience, and made for two very interesting summers. Moving out of Ohio for two summers taught me a lot about how to live away from home, more so than at college, as well as how to live with a family, and maintain a sense of professionally at all times. Being a role model for two kids was very rewarding and has helped lead me to what I want to do, especially in regards to biking.
Leading Caden and Mason on bike trips a few times a week throughout the summer has helped me to learn about leading bike trips, and how to do so safely. This gave me the opportunity to practice technical skills such as, learning trails well enough to lead, practice occasional first aid on minor injuries, ensure safe trips that have the proper supplies, and make these trips as fun as possible. This has helped me to look into other options for after school, and to keep looking for unique opportunities.
